Mobile Gas to host customer appreciation dayPosted June 28, 2015
Mobile Gas would like to thank its customers for choosing natural gas for their homes and businesses. The company will host Customer Appreciation Day on Thursday, July 2, 2015 from 11:00 am – 2:00 pm. Customers are invited to have lunch at the Dauphin Street headquarters and find out what changes Mobile Gas is making to improve their customer experience.
“We want to make doing business with Mobile Gas an easy process,” said Tim Bray, director of compliance management for Mobile Gas. “We are currently redesigning our residential customers’ bill to make it easier to read and to provide more helpful information in how their monthly bill is calculated.”
Mobile Gas is also improving the ease of how customers view their bill online as well as the online payment system. The Company has already updated its website. It is easier to navigate and has updated information including natural gas safety videos.
“Our goal is to make the customer experience a positive one and we are doing everything we can to make that happen,” said Bray.
Mobile Gas currently serves approximately 89,000 residential, commercial and industrial customers in southwest Alabama. Headquartered in Mobile County, Mobile Gas serves the cities of Mobile, Saraland, Satsuma, Chickasaw, Semmes, Bayou La Batre, Creola, Mt. Vernon and Prichard. Mobile Gas also operates a small section of distribution pipeline in the cities of Spanish Fort and Loxley in Baldwin County, east of Mobile.
During Customer Appreciation Day, customers will have a chance to win a natural gas grill by participating in the 2015 online J.D. Power Residential Customer Satisfaction Survey. Information on the survey will be provided at both the Mobile Gas headquarters located at 2828 Dauphin Street in Mobile and the Prichard branch office located at 229 South Wilson Avenue.
